Lesson conditions
Quantity of lessons
Our regular lesson series consists of 17 lessons.
Group size
We usually work in groups of 4 adults. However, different group sizes are possible, so both smaller groups and larger groups are possible.
Young children often work with larger groups, with a maximum number of children of 8.
Lessontimes
Adults usually have lessons on weekdays, between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM. In consultation, an earlier start time and lessons in the weekend can also be considered.
Youth classes take place between 4:30 PM and 6:00 PM.
Lesson dates
In principle, lessons are given every week, except during school holidays and public holidays. If a lesson falls on a public holiday, an alternative lesson day will be sought in consultation with the trainer. This can also be done on the holiday itself in consultation.
During our summer season, we have a long summer break of 8 weeks in July and August.
Payment and cancellation
Payment for the lesson series must be made no later than 14 days after receiving the invoice. After confirmation of the lesson series, the lessons must be paid.
Catch-up policy
Like many other tennis schools, we work with an alternating policy regarding catch-up lessons. This policy means that the first lesson that is canceled will be made up and the second lesson will not. If 3 lessons are canceled in a season, then two lessons will be made up.
The above alternating policy only applies to lessons that are canceled due to (too) bad weather conditions, lessons that are canceled because the trainer cannot give lessons will be made up as standard. In the event that a student is unable to attend, this lesson will of course not be made up.
For catch-up lessons, a catch-up period of two weeks has been scheduled, immediately after the end of the series of lessons. In consultation, lessons can also be made up earlier during the series. Catch-up lessons in the designated catch-up period that cannot take place due to (too) bad weather conditions will not be replanned again and so will not be given unfortunately.
Membership
To follow a fixed series of lessons, you must be a member of tennis association Blauw-Wit. A membership must be taken out directly with Blauw-Wit.
Material
All lessons include the use of tennis balls and training materials. You must provide your own tennis racket.
